The dielectric thermal conductivity of an aluminum substrate is usually 5 to 10 times that of conventional epoxy glass, and its thickness is only one tenth of the thickness of conventional epoxy glass. And its heat transfer index is more efficient than traditional rigid PCBs, and lower copper weights can be used.
Aluminum PCBs and glass fiber boards are all PCBs. Compared with the FR4 glass fiber board, the LED aluminum PCB differs in that the aluminum-based material used has better thermal conductivity than the FR4 material.
